As Development Coordinator, Alex manages the direct mail programme at the University of Edinburgh. She joined the team in January 2018 and loves talking about anything direct mail. This year her team won the “Best Individual Giving Campaign” at the IoF Awards for their 2018 scholarship appeal. Alex has had a varied career, previously working for Parkinson’s UK in community, trust and corporate fundraising for Scotland and Northern Ireland and before that she was working in Recruitment and Marketing in the corporate sector. Alex is passionate about volunteering and has taken up volunteer roles both in the UK and Internationally.
