INSPIRED – The Campaign to Support the University of Sydney
From the Nominator
The INSPIRED campaign had ambitious goals. Its purpose was not only to take the University’s fundraising to a new level of revenue generation, but to demonstrate that philanthropy at scale was possible in the Australian context.
From the Judges
The University of Sydney created an amazing landmark campaign which exceeded all expectations by doubling goals, even with a reduced timeline and a scale that was very different from the other finalists. By pursuing a comprehensive campaign strategy, the university effectively invested in all levels of the giving pyramid, and we loved the research-focused giving day. The judges found this entry to be especially impressive and deserving to win the Platinum Awards as it shows what can be achieved when 'new' is embraced.
