Judges found this to be an interesting profile of Ada Palmer and, through telling about her, a thought-provoking mini course on censorship. The piece was written well, and we appreciate how it shared elements of her health issues and how she is navigating health challenges professionally and personally. That component allowed us to connect with the story more fully.
