Unit-based Customized Receipts and Process Enhancement
From the Nominator
After receiving feedback from schools and units that they would prefer distinct individualized letters for their gift receipts, the stewardship and information systems teams in Advancement Services collaborated to create a process to allow customized, unit-based receipts for all gifts. Now, all gifts are receipted with a unit-branded, customized letter signed by a unit dean or director. The letters, templates and signatories can be updated on an ongoing basis. Previously, all gift receipts included the same language and were signed by the vice president of development and alumni relations. The bottom “receipt” portion was customized by foundation and gift designation.
