he Annual Appeal 2018/9 has been our most successful scholarships direct mail appeal to date. We contacted 37,779 UK and US alumni to raise vital funds for UK Undergraduate Scholarships. We featured two complementary stories of how financial aid helped students gain the education they really wanted. One from a current scholarship student who has great ambitions. The other from our Principal who shared his inspirational story of how education got him to where he is today. The mailing was made up of different packs. There was the standard value, a high value, a direct debit upgrade and a USA pack. For our high value alumni a high value reminder mailing was sent out five weeks after the original mailing. We ran a number of tests as well based on recommendations from our Insights team.
