While we've seen this type of image before, this one intrigued us as it was just a little different from the others and that difference showed the judges that they were thinking beyond the traditional shot. By using a window pane to frame the shot, they were able to tell the story of an older building where new discoveries were made. The photo was crisp and well-lit.
