With stable leadership in place that had been lacking for years, UO's communications team was empowered to build a news platform that would increase awareness of UO's academic excellence and confidence in future of the university.

The university was able to turn around a lackluster communications reputation and build a new platform that increased awareness of UO's academic excellence. Judges liked the "brand journalism" and the institution's commitment to telling it's own story. They were also impressed with the web and social media hits the campaign produced.
