This was by far the most innovative viewbook that the judging panel has seen! At first glance, panelists were hesitant, thinking most teenagers are not going to read all of this information. But the deeper we looked, the more impressed we became. This would probably not work for most institutions.
However, Harvey Mudd has an expert grasp on its audience. For the type of student applying to Harvey Mudd, this deck of cards is ingenious. It is clearly a terrific match for the institution's specific audience with the complex overlays of suits and the special code to break.
Harvey Mudd demonstrated an impressive array of content well and concisely presented. This viewbook was such a clever idea executed skillfully and with a great budget!
