We were impressed with the collaboration between the College and the Housing and Building Association of Colorado Springs in response to a community need. We felt that other community colleges could replicate this success. We were impressed by the amounts raised and that they leveraged this program into scholarships for students in the construction program. We know that this is a problem in many areas of the country and they serve as a great example of success. Because it was a recently launched program, we would like to have seen the results and the impact on the workforce needs.
