The panel was highly impressed by this ambitious project, especially considering the difficulty of execution. There were a lot of moving parts: multiple stakeholders at local and national levels involved in an event that brought the entire university together. The project took a positive approach that proposed solutions and had real results. The panel noted that this event was a great way both to engage students in the political process and also to help government officials learn what is important to students. It was a clever, bold initiative with well-designed and produced collateral materials that reflect a distinct institutional personality. An excellent example of effective awareness-raising and points-of-pride campaigning.
