Carlow College had a story to tell and this video tells it effectively. The team responsible had clear objectives - to demonstrate that Carlow is a co-ed liberal arts college for the Pittsburgh community. They did just that. While the production values aren't as slick as some, they don't need to be-in fact that might have worked against the college in reaching its target audience. Carlow shows this is a school that is accessible, and that is clearly a sound strategy in connecting with an audience for the first time.
