The judging committee unanimously chose this piece for several reasons. This was a highly engaging piece for the audience. We liked the use of humor in the copy and the simplicity of the layout. "Great form factor," and "good entertainment value," as one judge described. Strong use of existing resources (photography) and very cost-effective. For a low-cost publication, Middle Tennessee achieved excellent results. From a marketing point of view, it is a good lesson that the school had one specific goal; they didn't try to be all things to all people.
