The Impact Report is The Archer School for Girls' annual publication highlighting the contributions of our donors. This year's report was rebranded from our annual report to take on a simpler, streamlined approach in its story rather than heavy copy to express the impact of our donors' contributions. This publication was a 9"x9" perfect-bound book in the style of a coffee table book.
From the Judges' Report
: This piece was a breath of fresh air. The report features beautiful photography with minimal type. We read every word—and you had us rooting for these girls! “A perfect illustration of ‘show me, don’t tell me,’ ” said one judge. Archer School kept the focus on its students, literally, because they used the Archer School logo (a square) to draw our attention to the student in each photo. Makes sense because the students are why most of our donors choose to support our institutions, right? Next year, the designer should consider experimenting with a more interesting type treatment. Some judges wished you’d used the students’ own words to convey their strengths and ambitions.
