Each article submitted by BU was interesting and innovative – and the package as a whole showed an impressive breadth of topics and styles. We especially enjoyed the profile of Robert Pinsky, not only the lead referencing The Simpsons but also the alluring and unusual integration of narrative, poetry excerpts, and Q&A. This was just one of the creative touches that made the BU arts & sciences submission stand out. All of the articles were an appropriate length, and kept our attention through to the end. Everything was well written and impeccably edited. We also liked the fact that several different staff writers contributed to the package, demonstrating the strengths of each member of the BU arts & sciences team.
