As an institution that was created by the community, for the community, EVMS efforts consistently revolve around improving the health and well-being of the community that supports it. Ultimately, EVMS aims to ensure its community is aware of the resources available to it as well as benefit from the expertise of the school's researchers and healthcare providers. The Boost 'Em in the Back Seat video/Facebook post not only reached the EVMS community but had an international reach.

The highlight of this campaign is an extremely impactful video that was organically viewed over 10 million times and shared over 200,000 times. Eastern Virginia Medical School strategically chose Facebook to appeal to their target market of young mothers and with those stats, there is no denying that this campaign was a success.
