The Shipley Prostate Cancer Research Center website was developed as part of a gift from BU Trustee Richard Shipley to educate the public about prostate cancer (the website) and to improve the diagnosis and treatment of prostate cancer (the research center).

Boston University’s Shipley Prostate Cancer Research Center site has an amazing feature that defines many important and relevant medical terms. The identity and target audience is clearly indicated throughout the site. The time users spent on the site increased, showing that people have been engaging with their content. This is a great example of how to display medical information.
