From the Judges' Report
The judges appreciated Washington University in St. Louis School of Engineering & Applied Science’s approach at creating a calendar that tells the story about the groundbreaking research they’re doing, in a unique way. The judges liked the artistic nature of the images selected and enjoyed reading about the research connected to the images. While several of the judges did not particularly care for the cover design (deeming it a little “dated” with the use of gradient) everyone agreed that as a cohesive piece it strongly tells the story of their research.
