Seek had excellent content balance and focused on a select number of high-quality articles, blended writing and visuals for a cohesive issue. The committee appreciated the digestible number of articles and focus on quality versus quantity when it came to content management.
Surprising images and bright colors {including specific mention of the page 10 Buffalo visual) enhanced the content throughout and made the reader feel engaged with the articles and excited to continue.
The magazine reflected the mission of the university and was an embodiment of the personality and culture of the state.
The committee commented on the engaging and 11lively" writing style which used storytelling coupled with strong, supporting images, smart headlines, and thoughtful pull-quotes throughout the issue making it successful and noteworthy.
