Rare are the student-produced videos that present such a professional and thorough overview of an experience. Unlike many study abroad recruitment videos, this seemed to capture an authentic friendship and sense of community experienced by the student as well as the hosts. Bright, colorful images of daily life in Cameroon, interspersed with the student’s interview/reflection of her experience compel the viewer to consider participation in study abroad. Produced with a minimal budget (just over $500), the film is an excellent example of the creativity and quality possible to institutions or departments regardless of fiscal resources available. Stunning!
