In order to achieve its 2025 New Futures Strategic Plan and stand as a global leader committed to equity and excellence, The University of Newcastle had to radically transform perceptions. While the university already had strong global rankings, with renowned staff and exciting research partnerships, key audiences regarded the institution as practical, accessible, and focused mostly on delivering value to the local community.

This submission was impressive across the board with strong rational on the need for branding programission, due a sudden change of student pipeline due to increased competition from other institutions. They had high goals with increasing the reputation among different audiences, and their outcomes were strong. The budget did seem on the high side, compared to others, but the return on investment was good. Their creative and innovation was exceptional.
