The 2018 Chancellor’s Council invitation was created for an annual event celebrating donors who support the vision of the Texas Tech University System chancellor through annual gifts. The guests included system leadership and some of the Texas Tech system’s most committed alumni and donors. It is one of three signature events held each calendar year to celebrate the impact of philanthropy across our universities. The invitation design recalls themes of evergreen and the soft sparkle of snow to highlight the winter season without falling into well-trodden holiday motifs.

Judging panel felt this submission presented a classic and elegant design. The panel also loved the typography, simplicity, textures, and paper choices. Nice surprise with the subtle sparkles on the paper. Nice job on the belly band—easy to take off and put back on; functional and beautiful.
