“Be Bold. Be Audacious. Be in that Number.” is the 2018 Tulane Fund campaign for annual giving. Annual support to the Tulane Fund is critical in supporting Tulane students and faculty. Each year the competition for annual dollars grows more intense as donors are asked to support a variety of causes. Our goal is to make Tulane University a philanthropic priority as we grow our alumni base and encourage new generations of alumni to actively support their alma mater. “Be Bold. Be Audacious. Be in that Number.” asked Tulane alumni, parents, faculty, staff, and friends to be part of the Only the Audacious campaign by giving in support of the Tulane Fund.
From the Judges
Tulane launched its most ambitious fundraising campaign—$1.3 billion—in December 2017 called “Only the Audacious.” The annual fund, challenged with encouraging participation gifts and reinforcing the importance of annual, collective giving in meeting the $1.3 billion goal, branded its efforts as “Be in that Number.” The goal was to make the larger campaign accessible and real for every donor, no matter what the gift amount. Within that year, Tulane held its first ever day of giving, mailed letters from students or peers explaining why giving to Tulane is important and empowering, and continued to reinforce that by giving to the Tulane Fund you are part of the Only the Audacious campaign.
