Carleton College Admissions Communications Redesign
From the Nominator
Our admissions website was dated and unappealing. It was partitioned from the rest of the Carleton website with very few links to elsewhere on the main college site. From 2015 to 2018, Carleton executed a complete review and overhaul of its admissions print, web, and email communications.
From the Judges
The new look of Carleton's materials is much more visually engaging than its previous materials and the strategic design and coordination of print and web materials was successful. The integrated project (website and print materials) used a nicely branded messaging platform, modern and clean design, beautiful photography and a call to action that was front and center. Although most of the measurements were qualitative, there were some data to support success.
