We are excited to present a unique project we created this year that we believe has never been done before. We created a customized musical card that plays our school fight song the (called Iolani No Ka Oi) to personally thank all of our donors who have given to the school for 10 years or more.
From the Judges
The judges were drawn immediately to this little thank you card. We passed it around the table and everyone laughed when they opened the card and heard the song. Our donors tend to be more engaged with our institutions than non-donors are, so it’s smart to utilize the school fight song in a piece targeted to this audience. We like the card’s simplicity and efficiency. The little pennant inside is adorable. The production values are high enough to make the recipient feel appreciated, but not so luxe that someone will wonder, “Why are you wasting my dollars on this?!” The collegiate font on the cover contributed to the feelings of nostalgia the card evokes.
