Falmer is the annual University of Sussex magazine. This 48-page printed magazine features university news, interviews with inspirational alumni, features on influential and pioneering research, alumni nostalgia, and features highlighting how alumni and friends support the university through philanthropy and volunteering. This is our primary print communication with our community of alumni and external supporters, and in most cases the only printed publication our audience will receive from the university each year.

This is a really nice, creative magazine. It packs a lot into 48 pages without being overwhelming. Smart writing and strong design with a nice mix of great photography and illustration. Judges like the way research news is presented. Pull quotes are used effectively! The magazine had some margin issues due to perfect binding.
