HWS So Far this Year was conceived by the Office of Advancement as an end-of-calendar-year outreach to alumni, alumnae and parents. The video is a high-energy depiction of campus events that had taken place literally “So Far this Year.” The fundraising video was distributed at the end of December, intentionally after the cacophony of pre-holiday commercial and non-profit greetings that fill inboxes earlier in the month. It was specifically designed to engage donors and prospective donors by showing the impact that gifts make in the lives of students.

The panel found this video completely delightful. Music is great and editing is super. Fun, energetic, creative view of campus life. Great use of resources and ability to reuse video for different purposes. A bonus that it was made by a recent alum.
