We introduced the world to a new university since the merger of the two renowned institutions—Philadelphia University and Thomas Jefferson University. We offer a transdisciplinary, experiential, and community-minded approach to professional education and research that is truly breakthrough in the current higher education landscape. Jefferson took the opportunity to break the mold on the traditional viewbook sent to prospective students and parents, creating a coffee table-style lookbook.
From the Judges
The judges were impressed by the interactive elements of this piece. The envelope was cohesive addition to the booklet but is a fun to engage in the “breakthrough” that will become the theme for the entire piece. The blue foil on top of blue paper create a beautiful cover. The typography and colors are bold but intentional. The interactive element of having the reader breakthrough the pages and create their own story is unique and playful.
