Love Letters is a three-minute video that attempts to present a conventional scholarship/stewardship story in an unconventional way. We recorded autobiographical reflections of three Boston University scholarship recipients as audio tracks. These edited audio tracks were used as voiceovers for cutting-edge animation, turning what might otherwise have been a predictable “thank you” into an inspirational, even magical, ride.

The panel thought this video was truly amazing. We especially appreciated its imaginative solution to maintaining student privacy while also thanking donors for their support. We also noted how touching and emotive it was, considering that there are no images of real people in it. A top-notch production, very well done.
