The 2018 Annual Impact Report to Investors is the first online-only annual report for the University of Colorado Office of Advancement; it uses expanded storytelling and dynamic visuals, including infographics, photos, and videos. The four enterprise stories crisscross the CU System and its four campuses, weaving together themes of innovation, arts and culture, societal good, and student success. The report is titled “Picture This” because we believe CU’s partnership with benefactors allows for society to imagine a better world through donor generosity.
From the Judges
This site did a masterful job at presenting traditional annual report-style information in a way that was dynamic and compelling. Bold powerful video instantly pulls the reader in and arrows help move the user through the rich content. Beautiful photography (a few judges noted that the white outlines in the photos were a little overdone) and smart writing that is short and direct. The site never deviates from its goal of thanking donors and showing why their support matters. Well done!
