Graduates of St. Edward’s University go on to do big things, and many are known for their entrepreneurial spirit. “Playing with Fire,” a feature article in St. Ed’s magazine, tells the story of two young alumni who are turning up the heat on the Texas barbecue scene by infusing it with new ideas and recipes. And the inspiration for both of their successful ventures started at St. Edward’s.

This series was shot with the magazine’s article firmly in mind. We felt that the images were strong in a montage placement and told the story with beauty and vibrancy. The art direction was evident and used to create a strong total series.
