Randolph Community College’s photographic technology program marked its 50th anniversary with its first homecoming celebration. About 170 alumni attended the event that included tours of the newly renovated photo facility on the Asheboro campus, photography seminars, and a lecture by Nikon ambassador Tamara Lackey.

The Alumni Relations—Community College Relations category had a single entry. Randolph Community College provided a brief overview of their photographic technology program's 50th anniversary celebration. We were excited to see such a great turnout for this inaugural event, especially given how difficult it can be to get community college alumni engaged. Although, in the realm of alumni events, it was not necessarily the most unique engagement concept, we felt that execution and results were noteworthy.
