This video spotlights Matt Bennett, a 2011 alumnus who gives motivational speeches to children and teenagers across the country. He gives an hourlong speech, then spends many more talking individually to teens, comforting them and listening to their stories. In the “Turn the Page” assembly, Matt acknowledges students’ trauma and pain, and also encourages them to create new and fulfilling chapters in their lives. This video allows the viewer to hear Matt’s personal story, watch him prepare, experience his powerful and deeply emotional talk, and see the amazing impact it has on children.
