This is the annual viewbook for this year’s Sommer Scholars students. The Johns Hopkins Sommer Scholars program is designed to prepare and inspire the next generation of public health leaders. The program provides intensive training in the context of a rich mentoring environment to embolden original thinking as it challenges the management and leadership skills of a highly select cohort.

The judges were impressed by the cheerfulness and the typography of this piece. The cover showcases a great use of type. The photography is playful, utilizing difference chairs in each image. The print quality is very nice. The concept and overall typography are clean, upbeat, and well-presented. This piece also has a unique use of the color black throughout the design in an elegant way.
