University of Southern Indiana - "Where Role Models Are Shaped" is a 60-second commercial that takes the viewer on a round-trip journey of one student’s transformative collegiate experience. Visually, it feels like a modern feature film that is shot with a kind of beautiful naturalism that cues viewers that it is an authentic character story. It is shot with an unusual level of cinematic sophistication that highlights the beauty of the University of Southern (USI) campus and the many opportunities it affords its students.

This video does a great job of showing a comprehensive and transformative college experience — from the emotional moment when the student moves away from home for the first time, to the connections she makes and mentors she meets on campus, to how she ultimately pays those relationships forward. We enjoyed the visual storytelling of this commercial and the fact that the student is both the subject and narrator. The video is beautifully shot with smooth transitions, and would appeal to both prospective students and their parents. The copy is simple, sincere and compelling. All done on a modest budget. Great job.
