The Weber State Annual Report 2018-19 recounts the university's accomplishments over the academic year in research, innovation, athletics and meeting student needs, along with inspirational stories about faculty, students, staff, and alumni. Those inspiring stories were the primary focus of this edition, with each section opening with a spread focusing on a successful student. The theme, Ever Upward, connects to a new branding campaign, as well as our beautiful mountain backdrop. You'll find imagery taken directly from our mountains throughout the publication, including a cover and center foldout section of facts and figures featuring images from a hiking trail that overlooks our campus and surrounding area.

This nicely designed report offers a wonderful introduction and contains compelling impact pieces in an enthusiastic, high energy manner. The branded envelope complements the high design quality overall. Images throughout are stunning, each piece is distinct, and there is a good use of space. The storytelling and visual combination are really thought-provoking, and the report is effective as both an annual report and a viable admissions publication.
