    From the Nominator

The 2019-2020 recruitment materials communicate what makes Connecticut’s flagship university unique and exciting, through vibrant photographs, compelling stories and facts, and a cohesive design that screams “UConn.” The publications reach students at key points in the admissions funnel to communicate the most relevant and important messages for that time in a student’s search, ensuring UConn is top-of-mind and that they have the information they need to take the next step, whether it be to research and visit campus, apply, or accept an offer of admission. The UConn brand shines through and grabs attention, with our well-known UConn blue and a prominent wordmark front and center on the cover of key pieces. A classic collegiate font that reflects UConn’s commitment to academic excellence is coupled with a fresh, modern script font to convey the authentic experience students will have.

    From the Judges

Strong branding throughout. Looks collegiate. Nice use of white space in design; strong photography. Satellite campus pieces were a good addition to the package. Like the use of "Bleed Blue" tagline throughout.
