This is a short documentary about alumna Anesa Hughes and the reasons she chose a career in pharmacy. Anesa grew up in the Appalachian region, an impoverished area of the country. Her twin sister confronted serious health issues from birth, inspiring Anesa to pursue a life of healing others. She now works as a staff pharmacist at a Veterans Affairs hospital, less than an hour from her family and hometown.

This is clearly a powerful story—one told competently and in a manner worthy of a longer time frame. Kudos to the VCU team for taking the extra step to get footage of Anesa and her hometown. These clips added to the story.
