Conceptually, these illustrations very nicely convey and support the intent of the written piece. The editorial style of the pieces is masterful, and does a very good job of implying how marijuana will become an ever-present, though perhaps inconspicuous, aspect of daily life. The color-palette, while aligning very nicely with Brown’s brand identity, does lend the piece a rather strong mid-century, post-war era aspect, despite the current-events nature of the subject.
