Did you know that world-changing research is happening at your doorstep? "Engineered" is a series of seven engineering lectures that has been designed to enlighten and inspire local college students about what actually takes place behind the brick buildings and glass atriums of Swansea University. When it comes to choosing a university, many students look to move away from home, but we do not want our homegrown talent to leave! "Engineered" was developed to establish a connection between local students and the university, to introduce them to the breadth of research taking place in their town, and to ultimately encourage them to apply to Swansea University.

This was a very impressive effort! The results are outstanding, and the budget truly was a shoestring. The short planning timeframe is also impressive. The visuals were quite compelling. We love the fact that the other colleges at the university can also start this effort for their schools. The lack of a call to action certainly shows how strong and inviting the information was to drive these results. This was a fabulous recruitment idea with much creativity to show the stellar nature of faculty in an inviting way (literally), with just a £100 budget.
