Enhancing the Alumni Network through Engaging Social Media

For 75 years, CAG has fostered an educational footprint in Guatemala by inspiring students to lead meaningful lives through academic excellence, cultivating critical thinkers and providing them with opportunities to become global citizens.The long-term sustainability of the institution is due to its flexibility in adapting to the needs of its constituents throughout time.To continue evolving and securing the school's future in a globalized world, CAG underwent a perception study. Taking into consideration survey results and in preparing for the school’s 75th anniversary, a new branding concept was created.Our anniversary’s logo design was inspired by six significant pathways that we believe have led the mission and vision of our school through the years and represent what our constituents´ value most: Legacy, Academic Excellence, Critical Thinking, Innovation, Sports & Arts, Educational Footprint.
From the Judges
Judges were fascinated by the annual report that was produced digitally and as a video. The school engaged all generations of alumni by using all social media platforms and involving alumni where possible (i.e., the takeover of Instagram). They were smart to survey stakeholders before embarking on this initiative and also to not abandon the school’s branding. This campaign felt honest and made judges want to be a part of your community.
