#GivingPack on NC State’s First Day of Giving

NC State University’s Social Media Strategy Hub works to create content that stands out and breaks through the clutter. For the university’s first Day of Giving, held on March 27, 2019, we developed a cohesive social media strategy that brought our entire university together. The strategy included toolkits for internal and external use, coordinated messaging with ambassadors, social media challenges, advertising, and more. NC State raised more than $13.5 million, and earned at least 2,787,510 organic social media impressions in 24 hours.

North Carolina State recently completed its first-ever day of giving and, based on their submission, it was a smashing success that had a highly ambitious social media stewardship strategy to go with it. Given the volume and large scale of the social media campaign undertaking, NC State's efforts were very impressive and are deserving of acknowledgment.
