Launch of a National Reputation Campaign
From the Nominator
In 2019, Rochester Institute of Technology launched the biggest national reputation campaign in its history. The goal: Increase national awareness of and positively impact the university’s perception of quality with key audience groups. The campaign directly addressed the results of a baseline study conducted in 2017 that established our understanding of RIT’s awareness and perception of quality relative to its competitors. A new marketing and communications division was formed and the baseline study served as an impetus for understanding where RIT stood in the national market. The results established a foundation on which RIT began to develop meaningful short- and long-term strategic goals centered around marketing and communications.
