Since donors receive many year-end solicitations, it can be difficult to stand out. UGA takes advantages of Thanksgiving to make sure our donors know they are a part of our family. Our goal for Thanksgiving messaging is to illustrate warm nostalgia in contrast to the heap of solicitations that will crowd their communication channels through the holiday season. In 2019, we were especially proud of our ultimate Thanksgiving video—one of multiple UGA icons enjoying a Thanksgiving meal together on our historic North Campus. We hoped to create a scene that would feel nostalgic while embracing a broad scope of the UGA family.
