How do you make your 40 Under 40 Class of 2020 feel special during a global pandemic, when you can't host your annual in-person awards event? How do you get them to even watch another virtual event that is taking place five months into the pandemic?
These are the two questions that we set out to find the answers to. We wanted more than just a scrolling list of our 40 top alumni for 2020...and we wanted it to be a fun, interactive event.
We reached out to previous 40 Under 40 alumni recipients for help, and produced a virtual awards show that was engaging for the recipients and all alumni viewers. It included a little "science," a little bit of humor, and—most important—made the 40 Under 40 Class of 2020 feel special and appreciated.

This event was produced masterfully, with a great script, presenter coaching process, and the sheer charisma of the host. The fact that it was internally produced underscored the strength of the strategy and execution behind the event.
