From the Nominator
In September 2020, Kenyon launched its redesigned institutional website. The site embodies a new brand messaging platform focused on Kenyon’s location, its emphasis on writing, and the attention students and faculty give to each other and their work together. Last redesigned in 2012, the site shifted from its previous news-driven strategy to a more focused and deliberate introduction of the college to prospective students. Improved navigation and design provide a consistent user experience across devices.
From the Judges
The website included well-written stories/headlines and engaging visuals. It was organized in a way that made it easy to explore the different sections. The "explore Kenyon" section was impressive and included options (in brief, by numbers, in pictures, in our own words, etc.). There were many different options to explore, and it was unique and well-branded. Accessibility was apparent. There were results with increased applications.
