The Notebook: A journey of Giving

The Queen’s Class of 2020 was different from its predecessors: Students lost the ability to finish their coursework in person, and the chance to say goodbye to classmates and faculty. They are the first class in Queen’s history that was unable to walk across the convocation stage to receive their credentials. This unique class demanded an equally unique to approach to engagement as they joined the Queen’s alumni ranks.
We set out not only to engage our alumni with a gift that acknowledges their unique situation and experiences, but that also provides a pathway for them to begin a journey of giving. And we actively showcased our most successful alumni and connected them with our graduates, forging new connections between generations, all united by the Queen’s experience. The centerpiece of the campaign was a unique graduation gift that we sent to every member of the Class of 2020: A notebook.
