"Each of our Annual Fund campaigns has a through line that helps anchor the fundraising season. In 2021, it was "All In For Dawson," which is a poker/gambling term that allowed us to have a little fun with the campaign in alignment with the city in which we live.
The campaign incorporated videos featuring several students participating in a kid-friendly "poker game" of Go Fish and betting candy bars, as well as written appeals for giving in emails and on social media. It had an old-time historic Vegas feel to it. Throughout the video, students discussed why they are "All In For Dawson" in conjunction with our Annual Fund donation designations. The video spoke to the hearts and minds of our families because it featured kids speaking passionately about the school they all love."
