Coming Full Circle in 2O36
From the Nominator
"The 2O36 website was created as part of Emory’s comprehensive campaign 2O36, which launched publicly October 2021. With an eye on Emory’s bicentennial, 2O36 will spearhead a movement to radically rethink and reshape the future.
Although the launch event was focused on brand activation, the website's goal was to leverage momentum from the launch events in a way that will keep audiences engaged throughout the four years of campaign. A robust marketing strategy detailed tactics focused on a multi-sensory experience, including animated content blocks, specialty video (shot on an vintage Japanese lens to get the right feel), dynamic photos, and compelling audio. More than 100 faculty, staff, students, alumni, and donors were interviewed, and we developed engaging ways to feature each of the interviewees.
The focus of the site’s content continues to be donor-centric storytelling pieces that represent the ethos of 2O36: investing in people for the benefit of people. Although this site will be routinely updated throughout the campaign, more than 11,000 users have visited the site, netting nearly 60,000 page views."
