"ReggieCon, a play off the world-renowned Comic-Con convention, debuted for the first time during the 2020-2021 school year. ReggieCon offers a different environment for students to process and talk about what was going on in the world around them. It included six virtual events where panelists came together to discuss race, gender, and ethnicity in comics, graphic novels, movies, and other media.
The spirit of this innovative approach to study through popular culture is reflected in the branding and marketing materials for ReggieCon. The design and illustration was worked on over a series of several weeks in cooperation between University Marketing and Communications and ReggieCon leadership."
