From the Nominator

"The Find Your Future Quiz was a student-centric project intended to help prospective students discover Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) programs and careers while also generating student applications. This project stemmed from a pain point our student recruitment team faces when meeting with prospective students. Their meetings with prospective students can be split into two groups:  

1. Those who know exactly what they want in a career and what program to take  

2. Those who have no idea and are looking for guidance  

We focused on making a meaningful impact with the second group of prospective students to help them make one of the biggest decisions of their lives. Our recruiters face the challenge of having limited time to advise students. For the second group, most of the recruiters' time was spent helping the student understand their interests, personality, and aspirations with very limited time discussing a suitable program or career. 

The quiz acted as a top-of-funnel recruitment tool with the intention to help alleviate the light career advising for recruiters. By answering a short, interactive quiz, the student is presented with an overview of their interests and strengths and how it relates back to NAIT programming. It was designed to mimic a Buzzfeed-style quiz to help students begin exploring post-secondary options in an approachable manner.  

The performance and results from this quiz has far exceeded our expectations and is now a key recruitment tool in generating awareness and students into our recruitment funnel."

From the Judges

The NAIT Find Your Future Quiz was a worthy winner, as it tapped into a format that resonates with all of us, but in particular, their target demographic of the campaign. It was well-executed and thoughtful, but also playful.
